The Condition is a very popular class and is especially suited for battles where is strong.
Because of its simple general idea, the is still one of the more difficult builds to play in Guild Wars 2, because its execution and perfection can be very difficult and complex.
For this reason, the DPS difference between a good and a mediocre player can be very high.
Due to the massive creation of on an enemy, the is especially strong on bosses like, , , , and .
The basic idea of this build is to create as much and as possible. This is achieved by combining Shatter skills and the generation of a lot of clones.
Clones are created after you have activated an illusion. This illusion first activates an attack and then turns into a clone after the attack is done.
You can have a maximum of 3 cones. In your build there are skills, besides, &Br8nAAA= and &Bs0nAAA=, that can directly create clones
Those are: &BruwAAA=, which is an important part of the rotation because of its low cooldown.
Also, all deception skills in your build, such as &BmmgAAA= and &BomxAAA= creates a clone because of the trait &B10IAAA=. There are 4 shatter skills: &Bs8nAAA=, &Bs4nAAA=, &Bi8oAAA= and &BtAnAAA=. All four are important parts of your rotation.
Besides the direct damage by &Bs8nAAA=, the damage per clone by &Bi8oAAA= and the &BtAnAAA= awarded by &BtAnAAA= , your F2 shatter &Bs4nAAA= is probably the most important shatter.
This Shattering skill creates one stack per active clone (including you).
However, there are some traits that improve your Shattering skills such as &B2EHAAA= will cause &Bs4nAAA= to create !
is an important point in the gameplay of a . Any that you create is turned into by the trait &B54HAAA= !
For this reason it is always it is recommended to bring a with as the smoke field created by it in combination with &BruwAAA= creates a Whirling Finisher which creates .
This is also converted to here!
Due to the traits &B5sCAAA= and &B0kHAAA=, as long as you have you will deal 10% more damage, take 10% less, gain 250 expertise and 250 concentration. Therefore it is a major priority to allways have !
In summary, the idea of this build is to create and shatter your clones for and !
Combinations are important here, which will always allow you to maintain 3 clones once your Shattering skills are ready.
Besides Illusions and Shattering skills, an important part of your rotation is the use of Ambush Skills.
Ambush skills change your auto attack on any weapon set while you have Mirage Cloak active! Using your Auto Attack now creates a different skill. Your Ambush Skill.
There are two important skills you should know about as ! However, only one of them will be important for your rotation.
&Bq6wAAA= , is the ambush skill of your sword! With this skill your charackter will jump 600 ranged units forward. This can be useful to get from location A to B more quickly.
An example is the Twisted Castle. Equip a sword and in combination with &BopzAAA=, &BtgnAAA=, &BomxAAA= you are very fast.
&BiGtAAA= is your ambush skill on the axe. This skill creates many smaller Illusionary Axes that can cause a lot of when they hit the enemy.
There are two ways to get Mirage Cloak, so you have access to ambush skills.
&BoWuAAA= is a crystal that explodes when you run into it and grants you Mirage Cloak. This &BoWuAAA= is created each time at the end of the &BmmgAAA= skill at the position where you aim this skill.
The &B2YIAAA= trait will change your animation. You just stand on the spot and get Mirage Cloak. However, this has no cooldown, so you can get Mirage Cloak whenever you dodge!
Besides creating ambush skills, Mirage Cloak also gives you the ability to evade all attacks for a short time! Note, that your Auto Attack chains can be interrupted once you receive Mirage Cloak, as your Auto Attack will chang immediately.
Not only you will gain access to these ambush skills, your clones get them aswell, through the trait &BxYIAAA=.
For this reason, the permanent and activating your ambush skills is a very important part of your rotation.
Many players mistakenly assume that you can do not much damage as . This is complete nonsense, though, because you can actually do a lot of CC.
All you have to do is adjust your rotation a bit and/or activate/replace one or the other skill.
As a mirage, you have the following CC skills that you can use:
&Bs0nAAA= and &BvUnAAA= can simply be delayed if you know that CC is needed soon.
&BvgnAAA= should be used only in worst case scenarios, because you will lose a lot of condition damage!
&Bi8oAAA= and &Bk9zAAA= will change your rotation significantly.
&Bi8oAAA= can be used at any time instead of any shatter skill. However, it is a good idea to adjust your rotation so that you have 3 clones active if CC is required.
Depending on your timing, this can result in almost no DPS loss.
Replacing &BomxAAA= with &Bk9zAAA= is a slightly larger DPS loss, as a major source of clone generation is lost! However, in return you will get access to a very powerful CC skill. This should only be played in absolute emergency situations! Since you have to change your rotation completely!
To summarize this, it is always a good idea to adjust your rotation with &Bs0nAAA= , &BvUnAAA= and even &Bi8oAAA= so you can contribute extra CC with these skills if its needed!
For emergency situations you should play with &BvgnAAA= or even play with &Bk9zAAA=!
As a Mirage, you have a lot of skills that can get you from point A to point B more quickly.
Mirage Cloak grants you a 66% increase in movement speed.
&BruwAAA= is a small movement skill, while also allowing you to dodge attacks at the same time.
&BomxAAA= is a very important movement skill, because it provides a teleport of up to 450 range units.
You can also use the &BvGqAAA= to move directly to the boss if you are within range of the boss.
For newcomers, it may be a good idea to replace &BvgnAAA= with Blink, which will give you a 1200 teleport to play mechanics safer.
In the standard rotation of the Condition , all Weaponskills are kept on at best.
This can seem quite complex, especially for beginners. Because of this there is the so-called Simplified Rotation, where you only shatter &Bs4nAAA= when you have &BmmgAAA= ready.
For the simplified rotation you want to use:
This rotation is much easier to play and allows you to always have &Bi8oAAA= ready for additional CC or &BtAnAAA= for additional &BtAnAAA=.
In general, you should replace only one utility skill as if possible. This is &BvgnAAA=, as it grants you “only” 180 condition damage.
One will often be asked to run &Bj4oAAA= to reflect the &BrCGAAA= back into the &BtaGAAA=. If you are, drop &BvgnAAA= for &Bj4oAAA=.
If you get &BqmGAAA= or &BpKGAAA= try to use &BomxAAA= to deal with the mechanics faster and cleanse a condition from you, If you do not happen to have a stack of &BomxAAA=, try using a for the increased movement speed from &B0UIAAA=
Always try to &BvGqAAA= back to the boss after dealing with a mechanic
You will always have to use &BvUnAAA= on the sacrifice to break its CC bar, additionally consider also using &BvgnAAA= (if you dont run &Bj4oAAA=)
It is generally a good idea to save a &BomxAAA= or 2 to deal with mechanics in the fight if you happen to get them.
Never delay any shatter in this fight. is a big exception for since youre not looking to maximize your damage here Instead we aim for high . This means that shattering your &Bs4nAAA= when just started his bubble is completely fine.
Try to not shatter your clones when youre just about to phase at 40% as you cannot get new clones during his invulnerability and resummoning them afterwards is both slow and risky due to his attack pattern in that situation
ALWAYS start on Pistol here since your &BvUnAAA= will not line up with the sacrifices if you do not
(canceling &BruwAAA= animation)
&Bi0oAAA=&Bs0nAAA= + &BomxAAA= during cast + during cast
Ambush attack
&BruwAAA= + &Bs4nAAA= +
&Bi8oAAA=
&BvZUAAA= while youre waiting for your mirror from &BmmgAAA=
&BruwAAA=Afterwards this should play like a “reversed” golem rotation and allow you to have &BvUnAAA= for every sacrifice.
Be mindful of the &BuGUAAA= positioning as you will be moving around the boss quite a bit with &BvGqAAA=, &BomxAAA= and &BruwAAA=. These skills are both your biggest strenght and weakness in avoiding the &BuGUAAA= as they offer great mobility but can also move you into the fields if you are not careful. Additionally you can or worst case &BiSUAAA= to avoid getting teleported.
Wait for the first &BuGUAAA= circle to spawn before starting with your rotation, as you will not be able to gain clones before.
If you happen to get &BqGUAAA= you should not longer use &BvGqAAA= or &BruwAAA= as theses could move you into your team and wipe you.
Delay the shatter of your &Bs4nAAA= until the very end of his Spatial Manipulation channel as you won´t gain any value from during it
If youre a tryhard you can precast &BrknAAA= during ‘s spawn animation in order to guarantee good whirl finishers for the first few seconds
&BvZUAAA= + &BomxAAA= during cast
&BvGqAAA=&Br8nAAA= + during cast
Ambush attack
&BruwAAA= + &Bs4nAAA= + &Bs8nAAA=
&BmmgAAA=+ &BomxAAA=
&BvUnAAA=Ambush attack from Mirror
&BruwAAA=-> Ambush attack
&BvGqAAA=For the battle with Mursaat Overseer it is adviced to have the rotation prepared at the special forces training area. Since you can and will use the very same one here.
Try to dodge the add explosions with or &BvGqAAA=.
For the battle with Deimos the should try to keep enough endurance for or &BvGqAAA=, to be able to dodge &BkCVAAA=. In dire need you can try to use &BomxAAA= or a very well placed &BruwAAA= within a just by &BkCVAAA= hit area to dodge the attack.
If the is the target of the green-circle-mechanic, do not use &BvGqAAA= during it.
Should the , due to &BvGqAAA= be in within an oilfield, you can use or &BomxAAA= to not trigger it.
DO the very same you would do at the golem.
Do not press &BvGqAAA= next to the AoE left by a Tormented Dead as touching it, even during &BvGqAAA=, will corrupt all your Boons which is a massive DPS loss
On the other hand you can play around the scythes quite agressively as you evade them during &BvGqAAA=. If you happen to end up in one towards the very end of your cast, you can always or &BomxAAA= out of it
If you are trapped behind a wall you can &BomxAAA= over it very consistently. If you dont not happen to have &BomxAAA= ready you can yolo it with &BvGqAAA=, targeting either or some worm assuming the only other option is certain death.
Do not use &BvUnAAA= while there is a Tormented Dead nearby as stunning it will cause your to have massive problems pushing it.
Use &BvUnAAA= and &Bi8oAAA= to quickly break CC bar
If you want to shatter and there is a scythe in the boss, stopping you from using &BruwAAA=, it is a good idea to shatter &BtAnAAA= with the other one so you do not get hit.
Pay attention to your clone count as they can die in this fight -> Make sure to resummon immediately
You’ll want to copy paste the golem rotation you hopefully practiced here, delaying &BvGqAAA= as necessary to not die to walls or lose boons in the Tormented Dead AoE
-> if youre fast enough you should be able to avoid the first AoE with either the mirror you pick up from &BmmgAAA= or the &BvGqAAA= following right after
For the fight with The Voice in the Void (Dhuum) Information is key.
For the should aim to play &Bh66AAA= and &Bqq7AAA= with the intent to maximise the own damage output and minimize the pressure on the group.
Therefore &Bh66AAA= should be handled as late as possible by using&BomxAAA= away from the group and returning quickly via &BvGqAAA=.
Furthermore for &Bqq7AAA= one must quickly use &BomxAAA= in the opposite direction of your ally and return quickly with &BvGqAAA=.
Remember to only use &BvGqAAA= if there is enough energy for . Since a direkt hit from Dhuum is very hurtfull and could mean lights out.
As soon as Dhuum uses his &BjC8AAA= react with &BomxAAA= by using it in the opposite direction of where Dhuum is facing. After the pulse of &BoW+AAA= quickly use &BvGqAAA= and continue to attack.
When you see Dhuum uses &BlK8AAA= as soon as you get knockback use &BomxAAA= to clear the six stacks of and be able to fight immediately.
During his pull continue using &BiGtAAA=, &Br8nAAA= and &Bs0nAAA=. If you are confident in the timing, consider closing the distance with &BvGqAAA= to avoid the last damage tick of the AoE in the middle.
Consider doing a seal or two during the last 10%, since &BomxAAA= offers great Mobility and &BtAnAAA= can be used during the interaction to shelter you.
In the beginning as well as after every &BlK8AAA= and during the 10% phase you should use the typical golem opener.
As soon as Dhuum reaches 60% only use &BomxAAA= for clone generation for it can be essential to play mechanics quickly.
If you happen to get the &BkzOAAA= mechanic move to the edge of the arena (Preferably with the movement speed from ) and &BvGqAAA= back to the boss
Should you get hit by &BsPOAAA= it is generally a good idea to use &BvonAAA= active to break free
Be mindful of the tornados placement when using &BruwAAA=, as even touching them for a short time can mean death.
You can also use the &BvonAAA=‘s active here if you get hit by &BhrPAAA= to mitigate the . This is necessesary when you would be getting knocked into a tornado.
It can be a good idea to also use &BtAnAAA= in a shatter sequence when facing a high pressure situation. This would allow you to shatter despite Kenut standing in a tornado for example.
While dodging Kenuts &BhrPAAA= works, it is better to jump over them, allowing you to use s in order to increase DPS.
There are 2 ways to aproach the opening here;
You can either shatter &Bs4nAAA= before his dash attack or afterwards. Shattering before the dash has a few upsides but is significantly harder to pull of, which is why I’d recommend less experienced players to shatter after the dash.
Opener (delayed &Bs4nAAA=)
&Bs0nAAA= &Bi0oAAA=&BruwAAA= + &Bs8nAAA= (0 clones)
&Br8nAAA= &BvUnAAA=&BomxAAA=+ during cast
Ambush attack
&BvGqAAA=Auto attack until you have to &BsPOAAA=
Ambush Attack
-> His dash starts here
&BvZUAAA= &Br8nAAA=-> Dash ends
&Bs0nAAA=&BruwAAA= + &Bs4nAAA= + &Bs8nAAA=
&BmmgAAA= + &BomxAAA=
Your &Bs4nAAA= should come back off cooldown right before the next dash. Do not press it immediately. The idea is delaying until after his dash again -> repeat
Do not shatter &Bs4nAAA= when youre going to phase in the next 5 seconds or so as you will want to keep it for Kenut then. Also try to keep one of the Phantasms and a stack of &BomxAAA=.
Since this depends on phasing a lot I cannot give you a fixed opener here. However you hopefully held a Phantasm and a &BomxAAA= from Nikare, which allows you to genererate 3 clones and immediately shatter &Bs4nAAA= with them.
We only delay &Bs4nAAA= for Nikare, not Kenut. Try to get back to 3 clones as soon as possible and then youre on your own.
For the fight with Cardinal Sabir a lot of -damage will be essential.
For that make sure &BvUnAAA= and &Bi8oAAA= are always be used during the phase.
Use &BvGqAAA= only if &BrvbAAA= is already available to not fumble your damage and damage in general.
During the 80-60% phase try to avoid &BkPdAAA= by taking a few steps back in advance and use &BomxAAA= to get back to Sabir, alternatively one can use &BvGqAAA= here.
During the 60-0% phase only use &BvGqAAA= after &BjTcAAA= (and only on maximum distance!) to get back to Sabir quickly.
In general try to have one charge of &BomxAAA= avaivable at all times, to not get overwhelmed by mechanics or &BtcCAAA=.
At the start and also after each change of plattforms open with:
For the battle with Qadim the Peerless skills with damage, such as &BvUnAAA= or &Bi8oAAA= should be kept for the pylons and Qadim himself.
Try to avoid the knockback on the start of each dps phase with or &BvGqAAA=.
If the is targeted by &Bs/cAAA= or &Bt/cAAA= , he should refrain from using &BvGqAAA= because due to the rng of the spell you could harm your group.
At 40%, 30% and 20% of Qadims hp try to use &BvGqAAA= on Qadim to move your clones quickly to him.
If you have &BljbAAA= aktive and use &BvGqAAA=, reposition yourself with &BomxAAA= to be in range of the Pylon-Kite again.
During 20-0% refrain from using &BvGqAAA= because every added instance of &BjbbAAA= draws the fight out.
Start with your pistol and use &BvUnAAA= on the pylon. Then for Qadim use:
You can repeat this on every dps phase.
