  • Welcome to the Lucky Noobs Patchnotes Page. On this page you can see all relevant changes of the Balance Patch from 12.05.2021. Besides a nice list of ingame skills and the corresponding links, you’ll only(!) see changes that are relevant for PvE raids on this page! All other changes of the Balance Patch are either PvP/WvW Only or not relevant for Raids!
    We created this page so you can see only the relevant changes for your class and not have to think about whether skill X is relevant for your build or not!
    • &Bl1zAAA=: Burning duration increased from 2.5 seconds to 3 seconds.
    • &Bkt4AAA=: Reduced power coefficient per strike from 0.45 to 0.36 in PvE. This matches the existing power coefficient in PvP and WvW.
    • &B1MIAAA=: Strike damage bonus reduced from 10% to 5%. Increases condition damage by 5%.
    • &BgoYAAA=: This skill no longer knocks the engineer back.
    • &B1oHAAA=: Increased strike-damage bonus from 7% to 10%.
    • &BwQIAAA=: has been reworked and renamed. It is now Kinetic Accelerators.
    • &BwQIAAA=: When you grant superspeed to a target, also grant quickness (2 seconds).
    • &BzkHAAA=: has been reworked to grant stability instead of quickness and to grant extra power from might. Players now gain stability when they gain might above the threshold. Might grants bonus power (10 per stack).
    • &B0oIAAA=: Reduced the maximum damage increase from 25% to 15% in PvE only. This matches the current value in PvP and WvW.
    • &BoIjAAA=: Increased cooldown from 6 seconds to 10 seconds in PvE and from 8 seconds to 10 seconds in WvW.
    • &BrojAAA=: This skill has been renamed Symbol of Resolution.
    • &BrojAAA=: Reduced cooldown from 20 seconds to 12 seconds. Damage per strike reduced by 10%.
    • &BiMkAAA=: Reduced base duration from 10 seconds to 8 seconds. Reduced cooldown from 30 seconds to 25 seconds.
    • &BuMjAAA=: Reduced radius from 240 to 180. This skill no longer burns foes that cross the outside of the field. Instead, it now applies one stack of burning with a 4-second duration on foes inside the radius when cast and again on each pulse for the duration of the effect. Cooldown reduced from 35 seconds to 25 seconds in PvE only.
    • &BqgjAAA=: Reduced cooldown from 60 seconds to 50 seconds.
    • &Bn0jAAA=: Increased the duration of resistance from 1.5 seconds to 3 seconds.
    • &B20CAAA=: This trait now additionally increases strike damage for each boon on the guardian. This effect was formerly on Power of the Virtuous.
    • &B2wCAAA=: has been reworked. Guardians now gain condition damage based on vitality (10%). Virtues gain reduced recharge (15%).
    • &B4kCAAA=: Symbol strikes no longer charge the virtue skill-1 passive effect more quickly.
    • &B3sCAAA=:  Spirit weapons now only apply burning on their first strike per cast. Increased burn duration from 4 seconds to 8 seconds in PvE, from 2.5 seconds to 5 seconds in WvW, and from 2 seconds to 4 seconds in PvP. This is a reduction to total burning from Sword of Justice and an increase in total burning to Hammer of Wisdom and Shield of the Avenger when used with this trait.
    • &BzkIAAA=:  Fixed a bug that caused a 3-second interval rather than the correct 1-second interval.
    • Mantras: Mantras no longer need to be charged before use. They now hold three charges by default, and the final charge is no longer stronger. They regenerate ammunition normally.
    • &B2gHAAA=: This trait now uses the correct icon. Reduced internal cooldown to 1 second in PvE only. This matches the current cooldown in PvP and WvW.
    • &Bl10AAA=:  Cooldown reduced from 15 seconds to 12 seconds. Casting time reduced by 0.3 seconds.
    • &BqR3AAA=: This skill’s cast has been reworked. The dragonhunter will now channel the skill for 1 second and then release the barrage, allowing movement while the attacks occur and traps are formed.
    • &Bn4oAAA= (Downed Skill 2): This skill is now ground targeted while on land and no longer displaces the player when summoning a clone while underwater.
    • &BkcoAAA=: Reduced cooldown from 180 seconds to 120 seconds. Reduced duration from 10 seconds to 5 seconds. This skill now applies 1 second of quickness and slow per pulse, for a total of six pulses over a 5-second duration.
    • Mantras: Mantras no longer need to be prepared before use. They regenerate ammunition normally.
    • &Bs8nAAA=: Fixed a bug that could cause the damage dealt to be inconsistent if another shatter skill was used immediately after this skill.
    • &BmLeAAA=: Fixed a bug that could cause the damage dealt to be inconsistent if another shatter skill was used immediately after this skill.
    • &BigoAAA=: This skill no longer displaces the player when summoning a clone.
    • &BiQoAAA=: This skill no longer displaces the player when summoning a clone.
    • &BiEoAAA=: Increased projectile speed by 25%. Increased casting speed by 0.1 second. Lowered aftercast animation lock by 0.2 seconds. Fixed an inconsistency with projectile behavior after bouncing. This skill now applies torment for 5 seconds to the first target struck and confusion for 5 seconds on subsequent hits to enemies. Allies hit gain might for 5 seconds and fury for 3 seconds.
    • &BlsoAAA=: Reduced recharge to 25 seconds. This skill no longer applies a random condition to nearby foes when cast. Instead, it now applies blindness and confusion to nearby foes when cast.
    • &BrknAAA=: Reduced recharge to 25 seconds in PvE only.
    • &BvicAAA= (Staff Ambush): The projectile now only strikes enemies. Up to 10 nearby allies gain boons. The boons gained are now might (8 stacks, 15-second duration in PvE; 4 stacks, 6-second duration in PvP and WvW) and alacrity (3-second duration). (Note: Boons are applied near the mesmer only, not near clones.)
    • &B9kHAAA=: Removed the critical-damage bonus.
    • &B2IHAAA=: Resummoned phantasm damage is now 75% in PvE only.
    • &B+YHAAA=: Quickness duration per clone shattered has been reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1 second in PvE only.
    • &B5sCAAA=: This trait has been reworked. While regenerating, condition damage dealt is increased, and condition damage taken is reduced by 10%.
    • &B0kHAAA=: This trait has been reworked. Gain concentration and expertise while regenerating.
    • &B50CAAA=: This trait has been reworked and renamed Chaotic Potency.
    • &B50CAAA=: Gain condition damage. Gain additional condition damage while wielding a staff. Recharge of staff skills is reduced.
    • &B5wCAAA=: This trait has been reworked. Chaos Armor grants 3 seconds of protection. Gain regeneration for 5 seconds with a 15-second cooldown when gaining protection.
    • &ByIDAAA=: Increased duration of bleeding inflicted from 2 seconds to 3 seconds in PvE only.
    • &B1sHAAA=: Increased duration of torment from 3 seconds to 5 seconds.
    • &B1QHAAA=: Reduced internal cooldown from 20 seconds to 16 seconds.
    • &Bw4DAAA=: In addition to its previous effects, this trait now grants barrier for health gained while below full health at a 15% rate.
    • &B34DAAA=: This trait now increases all damage dealt, not only strike damage.
    • &BlkxAAA=: When used by a merged soulbeast, the damage bonus granted is now 25%. When used by any other ranger specialization, or an unmerged soulbeast, the damage bonus granted to the pet is 40%.
    • &BpWyAAA=: Increased cooldown from 60 seconds to 80 seconds in PvE only.
    • &B2wIAAA=: Increased bonus damage from 7% to 10%.
    • &Bk0xAAA=: Reduced animation aftercast time by approximately 0.5 seconds. The pet’s next few attacks are no longer unblockable. This skill now dazes and weakens nearby enemies when cast. Daze duration is 2 seconds in PvE and WvW, and 1 second in PvP.
    • &BxIHAAA=: This trait has been renamed Spiritual Resolution. Increased duration of granted boon from 3 seconds to 6 seconds in PvE only.
    • &B7EGAAA=: Damage reduction is now gained while the revenant has resolution rather than vigor.
    • &B/MGAAA=: This trait now increases all damage dealt rather than strike damage only.
    • &B94GAAA=: This trait now also increases damage dealt from life stealing.
    • &B7wGAAA=: This trait now increases all damage dealt rather than strike damage only.
    • &Bs2yAAA=:  Life stealing can now trigger a maximum of once per second for each affected target.
    • : This effect no longer increases ferocity. It now increases all damage dealt by 2% per stack in PvE. This increases to 3% per stack with &BzQIAAA=.
    • &BjxtAAA=: Reduced torment duration from 8 seconds to 7 seconds in PvE only.
    • &BvluAAA=: Reduced torment duration from 12 seconds to 10 seconds in PvE only.
    • &Bn9uAAA=: Reduced torment duration from 6 seconds to 5.5 seconds in PvE only.
    • (Stolen Skill): Reduced maximum targets from 10 to 5.
    • &Bh8zAAA=: This skill now also inflicts 2 stacks of bleeding for 3 seconds in PvE and 1 stack in PvP and WvW.
    • &B48EAAA=: The cooldown of this trait has been reduced from 20 seconds to 15 seconds.
    • &B9AEAAA=: This trait now increases expertise by 150.
    • &B6oGAAA=: This has been reworked and renamed Deadly Ambush.
    • &B6oGAAA=: Stealing also applies 3 stacks of bleeding for 10 seconds in PvE and 3 stacks for 6 seconds in PvP and WvW. Bleeding inflicted on foes deals 25% more damage.
    • &BvWgAAA=: This skill now reveals the caster if they are using stealth when the skill begins. Reduced the aftercast animation from 0.25 seconds to 0.08 seconds.
    • Banners: Reduced the number of allied targets affected from 10 to 5. The Discipline trait Doubled Standards now increases the number of allied targets from 5 to 10.
    • Banners: Banners no longer cause blast finishers. They now create a light combo field that persists for 5 seconds after the banner is summoned.
    • &B6QFAAA=: Reduced the additional strike damage applied for a period of time after using a physical skill from 15% to 10% in PvE only.
    • &B6kFAAA=: This trait now increases ferocity by 10% of vitality.
    • &B8gFAAA=: Reduced internal cooldown to gain Soldier’s Focus from 15 seconds to 10 seconds.
    • &B70FAAA=: Increased damage bonus from 7% to 10% in PvE only.
    • &B84FAAA=: Reduced health threshold for bonus damage from 90% to 80%.
    • &B4UFAAA=: Increased damage bonus from 7% to 10% in PvE only.
    • &B8wFAAA=: Reduced bonus effect from banners from 100% to 50%. This trait now additionally increases the maximum number of allied targets on banners from 5 to 10.
    • &B1kFAAA=: This trait no longer grants additional ferocity for a second equipped axe.
    • &By8IAAA=: Fixed a bug that could cause trait bonuses to be temporarily lost after recovering from the downed state. The main-hand dagger bonus has been reworked to deal an additional 10% strike damage to foes with no boons.
    • &B1IIAAA=: Each stack of the Insight effect now grants an additional 50 power, precision, and ferocity at level 80 in PvE. Each stack now grants an additional 35 power, precision, and ferocity in PvP and WvW. Previously each stack granted 45 power and ferocity.

    • &BvecAAA=: Burning duration has been reduced from 3 seconds to 2 seconds, with the PvP and WvW versions remaining at 1.5 seconds. Bleeding duration has been reduced from 8 seconds to 6 seconds globally.
    • &BomqAAA=: Burning duration of this skill has been reduced from 6 seconds to 4 seconds.
    • &B+YFAAA=: This trait no longer grants fury when using a blast finisher with a fire combo field. Instead, this trait will now grant the elementalist an additional 1% damage for 15 seconds for each target struck with a fire field. This effect stacks up to 10 times.
    • &Bq8VAAA=: Reduced cooldown from 40 seconds to 35 seconds.
    • &BsMWAAA=: Increased the bleed duration inflicted from 5 seconds to 6 seconds.
    • &BsQWAAA=: Increased the poison duration inflicted from 7 seconds to 9 seconds in PvE only.
    • &BqUXAAA=: This skill now displays a ring to indicate the area Magnetic Inversion will affect. Improved the tooltip to include more information. Visual-effect size increased slightly for better visibility.
    • &Bu4XAAA=: Increased the attack radius from 180 to 240.
    • &B4oBAAA=: This trait has been reworked. It now causes the player to activate a skill that grants protection to nearby allies when using a shield skill.
    • &ByoHAAA=: This trait has been reworked. It now heals in an area around the engineer each time they use a tool-belt skill instead of when using a blast finisher with a fire combo field.
    • &B7MHAAA=: This trait will now grant barrier to the engineer each time they use control effects on a foe, in addition to causing the function gyro to daze foes.
    • &B94HAAA=: This trait has been reworked. It will now grant superspeed for 5 seconds to allies in a radius of 240 around the engineer when using a healing skill. Using a healing tool-belt skill grants the engineer 7 seconds of superspeed.
    • &BlkXAAA=: Reduced cooldown from 50 seconds to 40 seconds.
    • &BisXAAA=: Increased burning duration from 3 seconds to 4 seconds.
    • &BioXAAA=: Adjusted burning from 2 stacks for 2 seconds to 1 stack for 5 seconds.
    • &Bg8YAAA=: Reduced cooldown from 20 seconds to 15 seconds.
    • : Reduced the damage dealt by this skill by 14% (1.1 coefficient to 0.95) in PvE only. Reduced the duration of burning inflicted from 3 seconds to 2.5 seconds.
    • : Reduced the duration of burning inflicted from 6 seconds to 5 seconds.
    • : Reduced the base healing of this skill by 18% in PvE only. Increased the effect of healing power on this skill by 15% (0.96 to 1.1 coefficient) in PvE only.
    • : Reduced the swiftness duration from 5 seconds to 4 seconds. Reduced the base healing by 16% (0.0578 to 0.05) and the effect of healing power on this skill by 14% (0.26 to 0.23 coefficient) in PvE only.
    • &Bg11AAA=: Reduced recharge from 35 seconds to 30 seconds. This skill now grants 6 seconds of quickness to the guardian and 3 seconds to other nearby allies. It previously granted 5 seconds of quickness to all affected characters.
    • &BnwjAAA=: This skill now uses ammunition with 5 seconds between activations and a 30-second count recharge.
    • &BqBUAAA=: Increased damage to healing conversion from 25% to 33%.
    • &BtAwAAA=: Increased the duration of poison inflicted from 4 seconds to 8 seconds, and reduced the stacks per pulse from 3 to 2.
    • Deadly (Archetype): Reduced the condition damage increase gained while merged with this Deadly archetype pets by 25% (200 to 150 at level 80) in PvE only.
    • Ferocious (Archetype): Reduced power increase gained while merged with Ferocious archetype pets by 25% (200 to 150 at level 80) in PvE only.
    • &BkLeAAA=: Increased bleeding duration from 3 seconds to 5 seconds for both the impact and pulse attacks.
    • &Bs4yAAA=: The number of targets this skill can strike has been increased from 3 to 5.
    • &BwEFAAA=: Increased bonus critical chance from 5% to 10%.
    • &BnOoAAA=: Increased the damage dealt by this skill by 50% (1 to 1.5 coefficient) in PvE only. Raised the damage increase from 100% to 300% when the warrior removes a boon from a target in PvE only.
    • &B04IAAA=: Increased the damage dealt by this trait by 50% (0.9 to 1.35 coefficient) in PvE only.
    • &BlI4AAA=: Increased quickness duration per hit from 1.5 seconds to 2 seconds in PvE only.
    • &Bu11AAA=: Increased damage-to-healing conversion from 25% to 33%.
    • Chronomancer Shatter Skills: Chronomancer shatter skills can now be activated without clones, and the shatter effect also occurs at the mesmer’s location. Additionally, the following balance changes have been made:
      • &BmLeAAA=: Damage reduced by 33%. This skill no longer deals bonus damage to slowed foes. Instead, it strikes twice with a 1-second delay between strikes. Note: Shatter traits only affect the first strike.
      • &BmDeAAA=: The cooldown per clone spent has been reduced from 5 seconds to 3 seconds. The mesmer now counts as a clone for this reduction. Increased recharge from 25 seconds to 30 seconds.
      • &BineAAA=: Reduced daze duration per hit from 1 second to 0.5 seconds.
      • &BoZ0AAA=: This skill has a 1.5-second duration with no clones. 1.5 seconds is added per clone shattered. This skill no longer grants distortion.
    • &B/MHAAA=: This trait has been reworked. It now increases the base duration of Continuum Split by 1 second.
    • &BzwHAAA=: This trait will now also trigger when activating Shatter skill 4.
    • &B4cHAAA=: This trait has been reworked. It now counts the mesmer as a clone. Reduced alacrity gained per clone from 1.5 seconds to 1 second.
    • &B+YHAAA=: This trait has been reworked. It now counts the mesmer as a clone. Reduced quickness gained per clone in PvE from 2 seconds to 1.5 seconds. Reduced quickness gained per clone in PvP and WvW from 1 second to 0.75 seconds.
    • &BmmgAAA=: Reduced the aftercast by 0.4 seconds. Increased projectile speed such that mirror now forms 0.25 seconds faster.
    • Legends: Swapping legends can now be done in midair.
    • &BmWjAAA=: This skill now requires a target and is no longer ground targeted. The arrows fired by this skill now fire at the selected target rather than at a set point. Increased casting time by 0.2 seconds. Arrows now fire straight at the target instead of following terrain, and additional arrows now fire sequentially in pairs rather than simultaneously.
    • Fixed an issue that caused utility skills to appear in the wrong order.
    • Shade Skills: These have been changed back to triggering at both the necromancer’s location and their shade locations with each use.
    • &BtEpAAA=: Reduced the conditions transferred per target struck from 3 to 2 in PvE only.
    • &Bh8pAAA=: Reduced recharge from 30 seconds to 25 seconds.
    • &BwwDAAA=: Reduced recharge from 35 seconds to 30 seconds.
    • &Bm8pAAA=: Reduced recharge from 35 seconds to 25 seconds. This well is no longer unblockable and has a damaging strike associated with it. It now also inflicts 2 seconds of chill each pulse in addition to blindness.
    • &BjIpAAA=: Reduced recharge from 30 seconds to 25 seconds.
    • &BgJVAAA=: The passive effect for this skill has been reworked. It now causes the necromancer to steal a small amount of health from a nearby foe every second while in combat.
